CURRENT/ELLIOTT
is the feminine fashion duo of Emily Current and Merritt Elliott, from Los Angeles CA. The two met in college, and soon began styling together as a team, under the name Maude. Later on perfecting their vision and love of all things vintage and denim, the duo would find pieces in thrift stores and cut them up and reinvent them as their own. Soon enough they began producing their own line of denim clothing. Styling and designing for Nylon, MTV and celebrity clients, got their name out and about to the fashion world.
In July 2008, Vogue released a premiere of their Fall 2008 Denim Collection. This granted Current/Elliott immediate attention among celebrities and denim lovers alike. In their newest collection they feature denim jumpers, strapless rompers, vests, and an enclave of jeans.
Just in time for the new Season, we are pleased to see a fresh range of styles and cuts. Ranging from the “Boyfriend” jean to the “high waisted Bell bottom” jean, each model is given a number that corresponds with a different year.
