About Us:
BLEU first opened its doors in May of '98 and quickly
became one of
Los Angeles
most successful boutiques. In the past
7 years our client list has grown to over 5000.
Because of our central location, many celebrities and costume designers shop
at Bleu. Some of today's most popular
TV shows dress their actors in clothes from our store. In Summer of 2007 Bleu celebrated
9 years of business and also opened a second store in
Westlake Village, California
.
Customers are Bleu's best form of advertisement. Women wear our clothing around town and
create a wonderful word of mouth ad campaign.
What earned our shop its initial cult following and what keeps the notoriously
fickle LA women coming back (some as often as every day!) is the experience. Customers are treated like royalty when
they shop with owner, Gabrielle Zuccaro and the rest of our staff.
At Bleu, our employees are extremely hands on with clients, and have a very
specific idea about customer service.
Relationships matter to us. Our success
depends on it.
Bleu's unique, hands on approach to customer service has
earned unwavering loyalty. Customers have learned to expect attention (and lots
of it) from the friendly staff. At
Bleu we love to dress our customers from head to toe.
Customers are constantly surprised by the way they look when they trust our
knowledge of the clothing. We realize
that what most people think looks perfect on them, usually doesn't.
We see what clothes they should be wearing and when they trust us, they always
love the outcome.
Your first time? A few tips…
Don't expect to go it alone.
Do expect to try things you might not have thought of
on your own.
Don't expect to be ignored - that's just not the way it's
done here!
Shopping at Bleu is really like hanging out with good
friends. Because they are so important
to us, we urge our clients to feel at home here. (And they do.)
It's not unusual to see a regular client grab take-out from a nearby café
and sit at our huge circular bar to eat their lunch.
Of course when they finish eating there's always time to try on the new items
fresh from the boxes of that morning's delivery.
Regular clients relish the fact that new items arrive
daily - so there's always something fabulous to see. The "Bleu Crew" loves to show
each customer as much merchandise as possible.
We carry all of the hottest designers from
Los Angeles
,
New York
, Europe and
South America
. We always have the newest, hard to
find designs from lines like Ya Ya, Development, Erika
Davies, Josh Goot, Willow, Michelle Mason, Diane Von Furstenberg, Anna Sui, Miguelina,
Gold Sign, La Rok, Alice + Olivia and sooo many more..

Gabrielle was born for fashion and it shows.
She was lucky enough to travel as a child and spent many seasons away from her
Los Angeles
home living in
Italy
. Her extensive time abroad cemented
her love for color and femininity.
Step in to her store and you'll experience these influences first hand.
You won't see the staff or clients in her store wearing anything resembling
sweat suits. "It takes just as long
to put on sweats as it does to put on something fabulous that makes you feel good,"
she says. She should know. Gabrielle
has been featured on E!, The Style Network, Fox 11 Morning News, and MTV.
Gabrielle's first job in retail was selling women's bathing
suits. At the early age of 14 she learned
the importance of helping women feel comfortable with their bodies.
Gabrielle has definitely honed her talents as the ultimate shop girl. The woman really knows how to make you
feel like a beauty queen.
As a child Gabrielle dreamed of owning a department store,
filled entirely with children's clothing.
Although her plans have changed, Gabrielle still has big ideas for Bleu.
Over the next year, Gabrielle and her "crew," plan to expand.
Hoping to one day compete with the likes of Barney's, Neiman Marcus and
Saks Fifth Avenue
, she is shopping for the perfect location.
Regular clients shouldn't worry, Gabrielle promises the expansion will never take
away the personal touches that made Bleu what it is today.
"My customers
always come first," she says, "where would I be with out them?"
